Piazza di Spagna

The Spanish Steps Luxury Apartment, is ideally positioned in the heart of Rome and is located between Piazza di Spagna (the Spanish Steps) and Fontana di Trevi (the Trevi Fountain) both at a 5 minute walk. The closest underground station is Piazza Barberini, A Line, about 300 mt from the apartment. Otherwise, Spagna station is about 400mt from the apartment. Very conveniently, there is a parking facility called Ludovisi, ideal for those  renting a car. It is at a  2 minute walk fom the apartment. The American Embassy is about 5 minutes walk from the apartment.
Via Francesco Crispi is a vibrant street filled with coffe shops, restaurants and fashion shops. The Gallery of Modern Art of Rome, ex XVI century Monastry, is on the same street. Moreover, one of the Gagosian Galleries (New York, Beverly Hills, London, Paris) displays temporary exibitions of Contemporary art.
Via Veneto, famous for the Dolce Vita of Fellini, is at about 500 meters from the apartment and offers many luxury boutiques, hotels and restaurants.
Piazza del Popolo is only 1 km away and one of the main entrances to Villa Borghese Park is just 300 m away.
The Colosseum may be reached by foot, about 20 minutes, by bus or underground in less than 10 minutes.

As for shopping, especially for high fashion Italian designers, via Condotti and Via Frattina are just off Piazza di Spagna.
